Mary Louise Graffam


Mary Louise Graffam was an American teacher, high school principal, Christian missionary, and an important witness to the Armenian Genocide. In 1915 she was deported and is considered a victim of the Armenian Genocide.

Mary Louise Graffam was born in Monson, Maine. Her father was a farmer and her mother died at the age of fortyone shortly after Mary Graffams graduation from high school. At the age of five, her and her family moved to Andover, Massachusetts.
